1987 VERY RARE ROLEX DAYTONA ZENITH 16520 MKI FLOATING COSMOGRAPH

Offered for sale is the very rare 1987 (R serial) MkI Rolex Daytona Zenith, Floating Cosmograph. This was the first automatic Chronograph ever manufactured by Rolex, after having acquired the movement design right from Zenith, and its 1969 Zenith El Primero. It is believed that 100 examples were produced in black, and 100 in white dial configuration. This makes this example very rare. It is in very fine original condition, clean dial with minor wear, and beautiful registers which have turned to a light brown. This natural color fading due to the tritium indexs make it very appealing on the wrist. The previously polished case remains strong and in very good condition. The correct bracelet, reference 78360 with unique 501 end links show very minimal stretch (Clasp Code LT6)
